You can hardly find a country that didn't wage war with other countries of the world. You can hardly find a person who didn't participate in war too.

But much more cruel and violent wars are World Wars and local wars between nations and peoples.

The history of humanity consists of wars. Thousands of people died during these wars. And the reasons for these wars were power, territory, influence, etc. But nothing can justify millions of people's deaths.

After two World Wars a lot of people had a sigh of relief. They thought that at last humanity understood its misdeeds and there will be no wars any more. And United Nations Organization was created to maintain piece in the whole world. But modern world is not a stable peaceful and prosperous world. And as we may see, new wars are declared almost every day. Moreover people earn money thanks to wars and get benefits thanks to them. And nobody cares about people and their families, not to mention, the future of the world.

But the modern wars are much more serious and dangerous and threaten the human existence. Every day thousands of local conflicts and wars appear, and countries of the world invent new kinds of weapon. More and more countries want to get Nuclear weapons. People of the countries consider that this weapon will defend them and give more freedom. India and Pakistan are countries that have Nuclear weapon and local conflicts appear between these countries regularly. The same happens all over the world.

And the use of nuclear weapon may destroy the whole world. And the question about the control of Nuclear weapon appears: what countries should control this problem?

According to psychologists, war is an integral part of human life. People need conflicts and wars. And we can do nothing about it.

Of course the leaders of countries try to solve the problems and conflicts that may appear in peaceful way. And weapon disarmament took place in many countries.

The result of spread of violence in the world was the appearance of pacifism. According to philosophy of pacifism, there should be no violence in the world.

There are a lot of books and films that tell us about wars and future wars. Fantastic plots describe the wars between humanity and robots, humanity and aliens, humanity and monsters. Historical books describe us all the terrors of the wars of the past centuries, and some books warn us about possible future wars.

This is a global problem nowadays. And aggressiveness is the base of wars. So we should be tolerant and patient. It is very easy to declare war but it is very difficult to stop it. And there are no winners in wars. There are only losers. Wars make people suffer, youth and adolescence are wasted in wars, and in the end wars don't solve anything, but only destroy and kill.
