Our world is wonderful. It has so many sceneries that impress people and sometimes even make them change all views on the world. People can't stop admiring raining, snowing. Humanity is impressed by the power of nature. Earthquakes and volcano eruption may destroy cities and islands. And at the same time the blossom of flowers may heal a person's soul. And sometimes you can't stop admiring flower and animals.

But everything may change in a few years. Some species of plants and animals may disappear, others may become extinct. Some islands may disappear and water may cover it. It will become hotter and the climate of the world will change. Streets will be covered with litter, the air will be harmful and people will have to wear respirators. And forget about beaches. It will be dangerous to swim in the water. This is the future of our world if present trends are not changed.

Humanity has always been connected with the world that surrounded it. But industrialization and the use of Earth's resources have become very dangerous recently. People use the Earth's resources, polluting water and air and don't think about future.

There are cities in the world, in which it is impossible to breathe air as it is dangerous for health. A lot of plants pollute air and turn the planet's air into harmful gas. People pollute it to satisfy their needs in metal, gas, petrol, etc. Breathing the air in Mexico and Cairo may harm your health. And oncology is the result of air pollution.

The industrial activity of people may destroy nature. Radiation problem is one of the most important. The Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine has become a reason for contamination of a big territory in Ukraine. The accident that happened at this plant in April in 1986 influenced not only the country but also the whole world. Nowadays the city where this Plant is situated is a phantom city. A lot of people died and till nowadays we don't know what other consequences this accident may have.

Greenhouse effect is one of the most serious problems nowadays. Climate changes because of it. As a result glaciers may melt and the land may be covered with water.

Fortunately people begin to realise the danger of environmental problems and try to solve them. There are a lot of groups that gather to clean some areas and to fight pollution. World-known "Green Peace" is trying to influence the world politics and to attract attention of the whole world to the problem of pollution.

To save the world we should: first of all, the factories that pollute air, water must be removed. Of course it is impossible, so their influence on environment should be reduced to minimum by using purifying systems. Recycling systems must be introduced in every country. Paper, cans, bottles should be recycled. Trees should be planted every year and the damage of rainforests should be stopped, as trees save our world from carbon dioxide. And of course people shouldn't leave litter and trash in streets and after picnics.

Our planet needs care. It gives us everything it has.
