Famine

One of the greatest problems of the world is famine. There are a lot of people in the world who have nothing to eat. Sometimes it is a problem of poverty and sometimes it is a consequence of lack of harvest. Hunger turns into starvation and even may turn into famine.
There are a lot of countries of the world that suffer a lot from this problem. They try to take some measures and to fight with it, but people die.
Even the World Food Day was introduced to fight with this problem. It was introduced by Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in 1945. And each year on October 26 this holiday is celebrated. According to statistics Congo, India, Tanzania, Ethiopia have the greatest number of people who suffer from hunger.
According to statistics more than 24 thousand people die from hunger in the world.
Hunger is the problem that stops the development of country and women give birth to ill children, because they suffer from hunger and a pregnant woman needs a lot of meals to be healthy and to give birth to healthy person.
According to researches the process of global warming may destroy human civilization with the help of hunger. It may happen if agriculture disappears. Nowadays the process of global warming threatens the majority of agricultural plants. The majority of plants can't give good harvest if the average temperature while cultivating is 30 degrees above zero. And every degree reduces the amount of harvest on 10%.
There are a lot of books that describe the problems of poverty and famine and all of them try to solve these problems. There are a lot of theories that try to explain why hunger is so spread. And according to one of them, hunger is not the consequence of pour harvest or poverty but is the result of irrational distribution of provisions.
So if you have the possibility to eat, you should eat. Another problem is that people especially women starve on purpose to be slim and to look great. And it provokes bulimia and anorexia.
