Lie

There are a lot of problems in the world and all of them are very serious and need to be solved as soon as possible.

But human relations are even more complicated. These problems cause all the problems that exist in the world including wars, ecological problems, diseases, etc. People cause these problems and sometimes they are unable to solve them. So there are a lot of problems of human relations.

And these problems may be classified according to religious philosophy. There are seven death sins in Christianity. And they influence people life and their behaviour. These sins are lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, pride. But to my mind, lie must be added to these sins.

Our modern world is filled with lie. We can't escape from it and it follows you wherever you go. People make profits thanks to lie. And people of the world use it to achieve something. It is used in all spheres of life, and I am sure every person has practiced lie.

Lie is the base of propaganda that tries to persuade people in something. And people believe in it and follow popular slogans of different political, religious and social organizations. But the main purpose of these organizations is connected with profits.

Lie is also a base of cheating. In fact, cheating may be called the art of lying. People cheat to win the championships and competitions. Husbands/wives cheat people they love. Teens lie to their parents about their deeds.

Even commercials lie. Advertisement is the universal way to make a product popular. And sometimes those who work in advertisement business create commercials that give untrue information about products they describe.

But sometimes lie may be better than truth. It happens very often that truth may hurt. And people don't tell the truth to their relatives and friends. The problem of truth and lie is very serious and is very discussed in society. People from all over the world argue on this topic and till nowadays it is impossible to say exactly that truth is better than lies. But from the moral point of view, of course truth is valuable.

It is very difficult to tell a person that he was cheated, that he/she will die because he/she has a cancer, that his/her friend dies, etc. And it is very difficult to find the way to tell it to people.

Religions of the whole world teach us not to lie and be honest. But they don't mention named cases. But of course truth should be told to a person.
