World's terrorism
Nowadays one of the most important world's problems is terrorism. It is the problem of every person because anyone may suffer from it. Nobody knows when where and who will suffer next time.
People are afraid to use underground, planes and to stay in crowded places because act of terrorism may happen everywhere. Terrorism is a real problem today. But why do terrorist do that? According to scientists, terrorism may be the manifestation of political, social and religious views.
If a person doesn't agree with the world politics and wants to protest in some way, he/she usually uses peaceful methods. But sometimes violence may be used to get the political and social power. Terrorism is the kind of war that people declare. But the worst about this war is that ordinary people suffer from it.
Religious views may also turn people into terrorists. To fight against other religions is the purpose of such terrorists. But of course, most religions teach people to be kind and to respect other people, but not to kill them.
Patriotism, nationalism, racism are also reasons for terrorism. Sometimes people want to form a separate country and they start fighting for it. And terrorism is used in this fight.
The worst about terrorism is that ordinary people die. Military people, politicians don't die, but ordinary people are killed. So what do terrorists want to achieve by killing peaceful people who want to live and want to be happy?
Terrorism is very convenient war. It makes the situation unstable in all spheres of life of society, it doesn't require much money, it is a good way to influence the enemy and make the enemy obey.
The world-known act of terrorism took place on September 11, 2001. This day entered the history of humanity as one of the worst days. There were several acts of terrorism that took place in the USA this day. According to official version Al-Qaeda is responsible for them. In the morning of that day 19 terrorists were divided into four groups and each group attacked four passenger planes. And these planes cut into two buildings of the World Trade Centre in New York City, the pentagon. The passengers of the fourth plane tried to retake control of the plane and it crashed into the field. But according to experts it was flying to Washington DC. There are no survivors among the passengers of these planes.
After these attacks the USA declared war to terrorism. And almost all countries of the world joined it. A lot of people died. And these attacks caused a lot of damages to economical, social, political spheres of the USA.
Pentagon was rebuilt in fifteen days and memorials were built. And world-weariness is the only thing left from that day.
Such acts of terrorism make the whole world be afraid of terrorism. A lot of money is spent to fight with it but still terrorism exists and people still suffer from it. It is a huge problem nowadays.
